DENVER — There is no truth to the rumor that Kylie Minogue will be singing the national anthem at Ball Arena on Tuesday when the Denver Nuggets host the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 5 of their tense NBA playoff series.

Even if they are — make that "were" — both scheduled to be performing there at the same time.

Minogue's "Tension Tour" stop, long scheduled to take place Tuesday at Ball Arena, has been canceled (not postponed) because the Nuggets will now be playing there at 8 p.m. that same night. That game was made necessary by the Nuggets' loss to the Clippers on Monday night, ensuring the need for a fifth game in the best-of-seven playoff series.

"I'm so sorry that we're now unable to visit Denver on the Tension Tour due to a scheduling conflict with the NBA playoffs," she posted on Instagram. "I was really looking forward to performing in Colorado for the first time!! Sending my best to the Denver Nuggets for their hometown games and I really hope to visit you all in Denver soon."

According to Ticketmaster, they will refund ticketholders using the original method of payment in 14 to 21 days. If a ticket was transferred, the refund will go to the person who originally purchased the ticket from Ticketmaster.
